School of Wok, based in Covent Garden, are crowdfunding to get their Bao Kits into supermarkets in every corner of the UK - and even across the globe. I worked with the team to create a Kickstarter campaign to fundraise an incredible £35,000 to help get their bao off the ground (and across the world!).
The video combines on location shooting with animation and more to effectively pack as much information as possible into three minutes.
The Building Centre, located in Central London, is currently hosting the 'Digital Turn, AADRL' exhibition as the final part of their 'Digital Turn' series. The show contains architectural models from AADRL Architectural Association Design Research Lab, showcasing digital innovations in the built environment from Synthesis Design + Architecture, Melike Altınışık Architects, MARC FORNES / THEVERYMANY and #dEEPArchitects.
Last month, The Building Centre commissioned a couple of videos showcasing the exhibition and including short interviews about the work and exhibition in general.
The videos have been used on their website, newsletters and social media to communicate the exhibition.
Grigoriou Interiors, located in Central London, took part in the UN Sustainable Development Goals Week project this year. As part of their social media posts about the week, they commissioned a couple of videos to be filmed and edited explaining their own personal goals.
The videos include a custom made intro, echoing the companies branding and fonts, creating a series of videos that would easily fit into both their social media and their website. The videos were then hosted on YouTube and posted on their Twitter and LinkedIn pages.
The Building Centre, located in Central London, hosted the 'Digital Turn, ZHCODE' exhibition from Zaha Hadid Architects. Part of their ongoing 'Digital Turn' series, the show contained many detailed architectural models and larger 3D installations showcasing digital innovations in the built environment.
They commissioned a series of photos depicting the extent of the exhibition as well as bringing out the more intricate details of individual pieces. To achieve this, I took photos directing human background models, focusing on the exhibition pieces themselves and making the people out of focus. This provides a context in the size of the models, allowing the details to really be shown.
The commission took overall 5 days to deliver from receiving it. The photos have been used on their website, newsletters and social media to communicate the event and exhibition. Additionally the photos were used by more partners to increase publicity and were featured in magazines, industry journals and websites such as The Architect's Newspaper, TV Architect and London Live ESTV.
In June 2018 I was invited by The Building Centre to photograph the private view of their new exhibition, 'Design Computational Lab' - the first in their series of 'turns' in their Digital Turn series.
